With more than 15 years’ experience, I Graduated with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster Jordanstown, Northern Ireland in 2007.

After graduation I immediately started working in the NHS UK as a Physiotherapist. Very quickly I developed a strong preference to work with patients presenting with Neurological conditions.

I have extensive formal and informal training related to Neurological conditions. I have completed a MSc Module, Interdisciplinary Stroke Care Module, University of Ulster, Jordanstown, N. Ireland. I have a strong passion to improve quality of life of people after Stroke. In the UK I have experience working as a Specialist Neurological Physiotherapist in a hospital setting, a stroke unit, the Brain injury team and in the community.

When I moved to Canada in 2016, I worked as a Physiotherapist at Vancouver Coastal Health within the residential care setting. During this time, I developed a care pathway for patients admitted to residential care following a new Stroke. I feel very proud to write that with the whole team approach this led to the discharge home of a number of Stroke survivors.

I have worked at the Amazing Trimetric’s Physiotherapy and complementary Health since 2018. I enjoy treating the whole person at Trimetric’s. Working at this clinic developed more passion to treat the whole person, always take into consideration the body and mind. At the clinic I treat a wide variety of clients. Mostly Neurological conditions, vestibular disorders, Pain, post injury, Post-surgical rehabilitation.

I can treat pain related or unrelated to Neurological conditions. I have completed many manual therapy courses including IMS (Intramuscular stimulation) and Acupuncture. I am a fully certified APPI Pilates instructor. I have experience teaching Pilates to various populations.

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to travel, explore Canada, and to socialize with friends.

I am a bilingual (English & French) Registered Physiotherapist. I grew up in Ottawa in an active family where I was exposed at a young age to the benefits of living a healthy and happy lifestyle. I engaged in various recreational sports and creative activities with a focus and passion for dance.

I pursued a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University, in Kingston Ontario. Since then, I have enjoyed engaging in further education where I completed Level 1 certification under the Orthopedic division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Women’s pelvic floor course: The physical therapy approach to anyone experiencing Urinary Incontinence, Intramuscular stimulation (IMS) training, TMJ training, and other training/mentorship related to neurological conditions.

I have gained experience working with patients of all ages and in various settings. These opportunities have further confirmed my love for working one-on-one with clients and found a strong interest in patients with neurological conditions and taking a teamwork approach with their supporting team (family, friends, healthcare team). This is one of the reasons that I have landed at Holistic Neuro Physiotherapy.

Grounded in client-centered goals, I use education, hands-on techniques, exercise-programs, and other evidence-based treatments to take a collaborative and active approach to rehabilitation. By enabling my patients with the tools and confidence to be active participants in their recovery, I believe in the importance of taking a holistic person-centered approach, considering both the mind and the body.

In my spare time, I love spending time with friends and family, travelling, meeting new people, cooking and eating delicious food, finding news skills and challenges, and spending time by the water and in the mountains.

I am an Occupational Therapist who graduated in 2018, with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT). I have been working in both hospital and community-based settings with a specific focus and interest on the treatment of neurological conditions.

I have experience working with many neurological conditions including Acquired Brain Injuries, Stroke, Traumatic brain injuries, Concussions Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. I have recent experience working in the Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Program at Lions gate hospital (LGH). I am currently working as an Occupational Therapist with Vancouver Coastal Health on the inpatient rehabilitation team at LGH.

I believe in the importance of applying a holistic approach to treatment which covers the physical, cognitive, psycho-emotional and spiritual components of each client. By gaining insight into these components, I can create a client-centred treatment plan. Treatment plan is always based on each client’s return to functional activity goals. I use concepts of remediation, adaptation and environmental modifications.

I have training and experience in upper extremity treatment, cognitive assessment and rehabilitation, fatigue management, wheelchair seating assessment and equipment prescription to support functional goals.

I have completed courses in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT), Upper Extremity Treatment and Management post ABI, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Foundations in Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Chronic Pain Management.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, engrossing myself in the French culture, rock climbing and spending time with friends and family. Treatment can be offered in Polish, English (and hopefully soon French!)
